A single storey villa standing on its own above Nathon on the west coast, with the sun going down into the sea in front of it. Five bedrooms sit under pavilion roofs of heavy timber in the Thai Balinese manner, with a self contained apartment alongside for guests or staff, giving around 900 sqm of accommodation on approximately 1,700 sqm of land. Living and dining open straight out to an infinity pool with its own sala, an outdoor barbecue kitchen and mature landscaped gardens with lawn, and there is covered parking to the side. The house was fully renovated two years ago after a period standing empty, work that included a photovoltaic solar power system with battery storage, taking a large part of the electricity load off the mains supply. The existing pool is built on supports and is modest for the size of the plot, and there is open land below it, close to the guest accommodation, where a larger one could go.
